Here are some pictures of my kids just before we went Trick or Treating last night. We had the Tooth Fairy, a Giraffe (short necked version ) and a very scary Skeleton. The kids had a great time trick or treating. There weren't many houses who were giving out candy in our neighborhood, but the ones that were really gave them a lot and some good stuff too. I was a little disappointed that more homes don't participate but the kids were happy. And they were pleased with the candy they got. A fun time was had by all.

ReplyDeleteYea, don't even get me started on how lame I think these Trunk-or-Treats are. That's why a good chunk of our neighborhood didn't participate. I totally refuse to take my kids to one of those. I think it's very... (thinking of a good word... exclusionary (is that a word?) Halloween should be a whole neighborhood, community event not a church activity.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, my neighborhood is very much into both. And I agree, it is sad when a group gets excluded.
